Peter B. Rochester is a Vice President
and Business Banker in Wachovia’s Brevard County region. He joined Wachovia
in 2002 with nineteen years of commercial banking experience in Brevard County.
Mr. Rochester received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from The University
of Tennessee and his Masters degree in Business Administration from The University
of Memphis. He is a graduate of the Florida Banking Association School of
Commercial Lending at The University of South Florida.
His community involvement includes the Brevard Zoological Society as past
President and current Board Member; Junior Achievement as Secretary and Board
Member; Tropical Elementary School’s Advisory Council; and is a member
of the Economic Development Commission.

John A. Banks is the Area President for Brevard County and its 20 offices located therein. He began his banking career with City National Bank of Stewart in 1970, and with First Union (predecessor to Wachovia) in 1986.
John has held a number of leadership positions within the community, including President of Junior Achievement, President of the Cocoa Village Playhouse, and Chairman of the BCC Planned Giving Committee. He’s also a Director with the United Way, and on the Boards of the BCC Foundation, Florida Tech Board of Overseers, and co-chairperson of the Melbourne Central Catholic Scholarship Society.
He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame; has an M.B.A. from Central Michigan University; a graduate of Stonier School of Banking at Rutgers; and served a tour of duty in Vietnam.
